Dear Sir,

I am a maried women with a child. I took personal loan with HDFC in 2008 for about a lac.Later got married and shifetd to a new state and also left my job for few reasons.The bank people are harrasing my family for the repayment. They have filed the case which is due for hearing. Recently my husband has met with the accident and i am in a real crisis. What do i do as i do not have money to pay and they are saying the amout due is 1.35 lacs but i had paid 23 installments. pls suggesst me asap.

Negotiate with Bank. since YOU ARE BORROWER, YOU HAVE NO EXCUSE THAN MAKING THE PAYMENT.

Try for One Time Settlement which shall reduce all the penalties and may be reduction in some of the amount of the interest. If loan was not not renewed till last 3 years, bank cannot charge even a single penny from you.
