Verification of birth certificate

One of my friend made one fake Legal birth certificate.
He gave me One colored form to fill in good writing. I got trapped in his words and filled that form for him.
Then recently i got to know that , his father put some Govt Stamp on the same paper and gt it Laminated and used as proof of Birth in getting Passport.
He got passport also on the same fake document.
Now he blackmailing me for this and asking for Money.
Can I take help of Court or put some RTI in office to get the verification of the Birth certificate.
If found fake , can we go for some legal action against him so that in future , if something happen wrong him or if he will get trapped in some case due to this birth certificate , then i dont want to get involve in this.
Plz advise what shud i do to save myself from all this...???

you have not signed the form .only filled in details . fake govt stamp was not affixed on form by you . fabrication of document has been done by your friend .refuse to pay any money . inform local police station of fraud done by your friend

I didnt have any idea that he will use the same document as legal document. I filled form just as normally which everyone do.
I thought he will take this form to the Authority to apply. But didnt have any idea that his father and he will put fake stamp on that and will use that document legally.
Earlier They threat me also that if i inform police , then he will take action.
And at last , they trapped me in false 354 case.

If your handwriting is roved you may be in trouble.
It will be very difficult to prove that you had no idea about the wrong to be done.

I am forced to disagree with Mr Sethi.
The forged document has been made at various stages and various persons contributed to the same like assembly line of a factory.
Your contribution was no less. It is you who have scribed the document knowing that the contents are not false. None is going to believe it was beyond your knowledge that it will be used as a fraud document.

It is not clear why your friend want money from you. whether he plans to go to jail alongwith you?

Dear Barman sir and Sudhir sir ,
If your friend gave you some form to fill in good honor and what will you do. Will you deny to fill that form , when you know... that was just a FORM not a legal document.
If he/she used that document as fraud document to get some legal document by stamping it , then where is my fault..??

Your posts contradicts each other. One side you have filled up the form (rather helped to fabricate a document)and the other side your friend instead of appreciating your help is threatening you to give money (?), why is he threatening while he was the person (as per you) who created fake documents? If you are making a complaint against these fraudster what will be your stand for having been a part of this fraudulent issue? Do not create problems for your own self.
