Hello,
I am staying in a cooperative housing society have a Property Tax paper issued by PCMC (Pune). It indicates the property description as : RCC 893 Sq Ft and Parking 107 Sq Feet. I am already paying tax on this.
When I asked the society about my parking area, they are demanding the allotment letter from the builder. and saying that I do not have a reserved parking space. Since I do not have an allotment letter from builder, how can society say this? Because builder has given allotment letter only to those members who have paid extra money for reserved parking.
The reason I am asking is society will be charging Rs 1500/- per month if they allot parking space to those members who do not have parking. But in my case, my property tax already shows that I have a parking. The society is still insisting to have allotment letter from the builder.

Society can not differentiate in parking charges from person to person. It is to be charged as per norms. Builder can not sell stilt parking space as per Supreme Court ruling.

You may have to bring this issue in the AGM of the association. If you don't any relief then you may approach a lawyer for legal course of action.Please do not repeat your query to get a reply suiting to your taste.
