Plot registered without physical possesion

Resp. Expert query is , builder made to sell & registered a plot to for land in question which is common share hold land of village and physical possesion is not possible for particular plot. What should be my step.
Pl advise.

You committed the folly by not checking the tile of the plot if same is joint property and you have not purchased the same from all the share holders.
Now if the share of the seller is not greater than his due share, you can seek partition u/s 4 of the Partition Act and ask for separate possession as well.

If it is shamlat land then it might not be possible.
Show all docs to an able counsel and act against the seller to recover the money paid.
