like to know is filing of a separate petition of Mutual consent Divorce necessary
in
conversion of the present petition of divorce under section of 13 (1)(i-a)
into
a petition for Divorce by mutual consent ?

Yes! separate Mutual consent divorce petition is necessary if you are going to convert contested divorce agitated in court by two lawyers MCD requires only one lawyer under section 13 B of HMA.
