Reusing the stamp duty

Hi,

I have cancelled the deal of a flat but I have not applied for refund of stamp duty due to somepersonal reason. Now Iam buying another property. Can I use this stamp duty for another deal?

After stamp duty is paid document would be written and it would be signed by concerned parties. Once these two over, the stamp duty can be reused though the deal is cancelled. Even if it is not signed, once it is written, the document becomes valid if the concerned parties sign, otherwise the document will be ineffective. Even such case also you can not reuse the stamp duty paid.
