Can government employee continue dere higher studies

hi .. a student has qualified a government job on d basis of his undergradution i.e bachelors degree which was d minimum educational qualification for d job...n he is in his 2nd/last year of his post graduation at d time of his joining ..so plz tell me whether or not he can get permission from d government to complete his postgraduation by doing his job regularly(proper working hours)... as d final year of post graduation is mainly practical/thesis based ...he can easily manage both ....plz reply me

Such permission is liberally given. I had undergone 4/5 courses while in service. Such permission does not bestow any right to get leave for continuation of such study. The leave depends upon the discretion of controlling authrities.

Definitely, by virtue of experience gained during service period you can have chances to achieve greater success than pre-service stage theoretical learnings.

BUT, for any higher study you may have to obtain formal permission of the competent authority, as the whole time of a Government servant is considered to be at the disposal of the Government which pays him.
