Anyway go through Army Act, Navy Act, Air Force Act, and the rules made thereunder.

Also read arbitration law, municipal laws, general conventions etc on war like laws.

In addition to the Acts told by sudhir, you are also required to have thorough knowledge of Pension Regulations for the Army, Navy and Air Force.
