We are two sisters & have one brother. We the Sisters Got married in 2007 & 2012.
We have ancestral property in the name of our grand father.
Our grandmother is alive. She has 2 sons & 4 daughters
Our parent wants the property to be owned by themselves & our brother.
Some of the land got acquired by a plant & they kept the whole money.
Have we the sisters any legal right on that property or money?
We are from Orissa.

Do not be swept by sweeping answers.
You need to tell WHEN and HOW your grand father got this property and WHEN DID he DIED?Were you conceived at then? Are you from school of Mitakshara?
When you got married is not a problem!

Dear Shiv Kumar Das,
You are a lawyer. I wonder if you are a lady, as you stated, "We are two sisters," "We the Sisters Got married in 2007 & 2012," and also whether you posted your own problem or someone else's problem for solution?

Dear Dhingra Sir, It is correct that my profile shows me as a lawyer bcoz when I signed up in this site I was just started prctice. But due to some reason left the profession.
Secondly this matter is of my own family(in laws). To shorten & to give importance to the matter I used the words We are two sisters insted of showing my relationship to the victims.
Thanks to all for your valuable responses.
