Hello Team,
I am looking for information as to what documents are required in opening a Shop.
The objective of my shop is basically resale of purchased goods (Edible and non Edible products)for baking and confectionery.
(Sale of baking equipment, products, materials, etc)
Please advise what forms, documents, license are required.

Local tax (VAT), Shop and establishment licenses are basic requirement.

My Shop is going to be setup in Malad, Mumbai. Could you provide me a list of forms and certificates required as there are agents who stated would do the same . however the officer at the Govt. Office is saying that there are more documents required.
So i am not able to gauge what documents are required.

visit the ward office P North Ward , malad west .
make application for issue of licence under shop and establishment act . if shop is ownership copy of conveyance deed . if shop is on leave and licence basis copy of regd leave and licence agreement
