Dear Experts,

What are the requirements and procedure to make an affidavit. Is it necessary that it should be signed by notary officer? Please explain all the minute details.

Yes if it is to be filed before court it should be attested by notary or oath commissioner. If it is to be filed before an authority other than court it should be attested by notary.

Depends upon where you want to submit the affidavit and also on the specific direction about the affidavit whether that should be attested by the Notary or Oth Commissioner.
