how many minimum paid leaves an employee is entitled for as per Indian Law???
and what are the consequences if someone is not giving the leaves as per the law??and which law is applicable for the leave of the construction company??
please also reply if someone is not giving the leave on The Republic day and on the Independence day...what are its consequences???

Dear Shah,
You have to complain to the Commissioner of Labour or the human rights commission.If it is a limited company complain to the registrar of companies for deviating from the byelaws of the company towards its employees.

Ans : None. You have perhaps confused it with weekly off.

Ans : None. You have perhaps confused it with weekly off.
and which law is applicable for the leave of the construction company??
Ans : None. It you mean weekly off then Payment of Wages Act.

Unless the nature of the job is that the work can not stop on Republic Day and Independence Day, do as Ld. Sainath advised.

not exactly, bur app 8 days a year casual leave, 10 days a year for sick leave, 20 days Pl, Paid holidays 10 a year
Pease also reply if someone is not giving the leave on The Republic day and on the Independence day...what are its consequences???
Essential Services / security/ fire/ engin dept etc have to continue on republic day etc, and compensatory off is granted within 3 days.
