Dowry

(Querist) 27 June 2013 This query is : Resolved
i want to know how can i attache my in-laws property with this case as i have a doubt that my in-law's will sell their property to prevent me to show my right on the property.
Adv Archana Deshmukh (Expert) 28 June 2013
You have no right in your in-law's property and can secure maintainance only from your husband. Filing a false dowry case with the ulterior motive of getting the property of in-laws is not proper.
malipeddi jaggarao (Expert) 28 June 2013
Agreed with Expert Archana

Why are you eyeing other's property.
If you are hail and hearty then do work and earn money for yourself.
ajay sethi (Expert) 28 June 2013
work hard and earn money from your hard labour . dont eye properties of your in laws . in the bargain you may lose your wife too
Anirudh (Expert) 28 June 2013
Dear Mr. Sethi,
As rightly understood by Adv. Archana, the querist seems to be the wife, not husband.
ajay sethi (Expert) 28 June 2013
thanks for the clarification

Post the facts clearly. There is also dispute about your identity here. Experts are presuming you lady whereas some other as a gent. In-laws property belongs to your wife side or husband side?
legal (Querist) 04 July 2013
Dear All,
Thanks for the reply.
i am a lady.i appreciate your views that i should work hard and should not eye on their property. but what about my rights. They threw me out of their home and husband went abroad saying he will call me their.but he never called me their. He and his family cheated me.if i will leave them like this they will repeat the same with another girl also.
i would like to tell you i am not filling false dowry case. they spoiled my life for dowry only. my husbands last wording was if you will give me 10 lack Rs only then i will call you their else stay where ever you want and i will not call you
Devajyoti Barman (Expert) 06 July 2013
You can apply for your maintenance but in your husband's property you have no direct right unless any charge is created ob default of maintenance amount.
