Sir,my hausband sent me court notice for divorce.in complaint he said lies.am so disturbed.he doesnt spend me even 10rupees for me.he was not affectionate with me.what can i do now?can i get any settlement from him?wedding was done by my family with huge cost.can you suggest me?

You can contest the suit by filing your written reply.
You can also claim for monthly maintenance.

you can contest divorce proceedings if you so desire . in your reply seek maintenance from your husband . you can also file for RCR if you so desire

oppose the divorce proceedings.

If you want to have settlement, try through common family friends and if no result, file cases under section 498A, maintenance, DV act etc. Consult a local lawyer.

Can cases under Section 498A, DV Act etc. could be filed as matter of routine without any cause, just of the because divorce proceedings?

If he has filed a divorce case against you with false allegations, deny them stoutly in your reply/counter to the petition, refute all the allegations and simultaneously make a counter claim for restitution of conjugal rights and interim maintenance as well.
