Extra ordinary leave during probation period in govt jobs

sir,
i had joined central govt job on 6 may 2014,on 20 may my father is detected cancer.when i asked for 3 months extra ordinary leave.i was told no extra ordinary leave can be given to a temporary employee(on probation).My post is permanent but i am on probation.please tell me if i can be given EOL or not ,i don"t have any other leave to my credit as i have just joined.please help me.

LDN is admissible only to permanent employee. EOL can be given to probationer.

read CCS(Leave) rules.

You are entitled for EOL up to three months. However, please note that sanction of leave is the discretion of the sanctioning authority

if you are sure of getting job again and if you have not earned disciplinary case due t unauthroised absence then you can resign.

EOL in itself is no cause of extension of probation.
