Can any one plz guide me on the question that "Whether a letter of administration or succession certificate is granted for a motor vehicle?" can you provide any law citation plz?.

Letter of administration or succession certificate is meant for all the properties left by deceased and it also includes movable properties including motor vehicle and it is an established law. No specific citation is required to plead this fact.

Thanks Mr. Raj Kumar. Actually case is that "A" got a vehicle under hire purchase agreement from a bank, and after his death when the heirs wanted to get the papers from that bank (after complete payment) the Bank demanded succession certificate. But when the heirs went for succession certificate they were advised to get Letter for Administration for the said vehicle. And while hearing the said petition the presiding officer denied for grant of the same and given time to provide law on point that a succession certificate or letter of administration is valid for a vehicle. Kindly quote if there is any citation in AIR. Thanks.
