(Querist) 22 October 2013 This query is : Resolved
Dear Experts,

Following is the problem of one of my relatives:

She is widow and staying Alon as her only son stay outstation.

She had purchased 4 Sal (teak) tree from a person who illegally cut it from the forest and sold to her.

She had remove the balk and sink it in the near pond for session.

But in the mean time, forest officer come and size it and ask her to sign in the sizer report.

next day, the beat officer send a notice to appear before him with valid documents. But as the materials was purchased from illegal custody, there is no documents.

So, now what may be happen for her?

What may be the legal procedure she have to follow and what penlites may be imposed to her?

what may be the defence line for it?
