Respected Sir,
My name is Samrath Gupta residing from Varanasi (UP)
I've changed my name from " Shivam Gupta " TO " Samrath Gupta ".
I've these records with me:
1- Govt Gazette
2- Publications in news paper
3- Affidavit(Photocopy)
4- Affidavit sworn before Magistrate (Photo Copy)
Is it necessary to get Court Orders for the name change?
Can I get my name changed in my legal documents using the Govt Gazette like- PAN,DL,Bank Accounts,Registration Papers of my bike?
I'm still not sure If I'm Legally " Samrath Gupta " or still " Shivam Gupta "

Sir, But I have found at many places that lawyers and other dignitaries suggested to change name in the documents like Pan,DL,etc using the Govt Gazette.
How long it takes to get order from court for the name change?

You have to submit separate application to each individual authority with gazette notification.

I agree with with Mr. Dr. J.C.Vashista. It is not necessary to have any Court Order.
For changing your name in any document e.g PAN CARD, you should make an application to the authority with Gazette Notification.

Well advised by experts. Court order is not required for change of name in the documents desired to be changed. You have apply to the concerned authorities as suggested.
