The Company was incorporated on 29th Apr, 2003, with the two persons as directors of the ocmpany, the company had started its operation from that day only, One of the director of the company has drawn salary from June onwards, what would be his date of appointment i,e the date on whcih he became director or 1st drawl of remuneration.

Date of appointment is from the day the Board nominates & accepts him as a Director in its board meeting. The Form 32 carries the effective date of appointment.

Yes. You can find his date of appointment in the form 32. But if at the time of inducting him in the Board of Directors, he was already a employee of the company, may be in some other position, the date of joining mentioned in his appointment letter shall be his date of appointment for Gratuity.

Whether the director of the company whose holding is more than 5% is entitiled for gratuity?
