Hindu Marriage Act

Querist : Anonymous (Querist) 05 January 2010 This query is : Resolved
Respected Experts,
What is the legal status of a "separated" person in terms of Hindu Marriage Act? What will be the legal status of a person marries a "separated" girl? Is there will be any problem from previous husband of the girl?
Thanks to all.
adv. rajeev ( rajoo ) (Expert) 05 January 2010
If both are divorced then there will not be any problem to both, if they are not seperated themselves without the court order the status is they are married and their marriage is stil intact.
A person married a seperated girl is illegal, but her first husband can seek for the divorce on this ground or she may apply for the divorce.
