How much time to require for verification ?

Sir,

I file dv case in Mumbai lower court. I am submit my Petition in court. But still my verification is pending.

When i submit my petition on 26 Feb , that time assistant of Judge told me come on 14 march for verification then he send a notice to responded. but 13 March my lawyer call & inform me the date was postpone due to judge on leave . the next date was verification is 11 April .

The my question is how much time to require for verification ... .it too long time ..Almost 45 days gone after file a petition.Then no any action take court. My lawyer said it's court processor.

although DV cases are supposed to be disposed of in 60 days in relaity it is not possible as courts are overburdened .

your verification would hopefully be done on next date in April .

dont expect your DV case to be disposed of soon . IN MUMbai it takes 3 years for disposal of case .

Exigency of service, volume of already listed cases, availability of judge, other unforseen circumstances, etc., are the several criteria to affect any action or hearing in a case.
