first of all tell me what is the age of the daughter?
if she is under 15 then u can adopt her otherwise not.
u would have to make a adoption deed upon the stamp papers of Rs. 100/- & got registered it with the sub-registrar of ur concerned area.
NOC of both of the natural parents.
Affidavit of both of the natural parents.

It is not clear what is your religion i.e Hindu/Muslim/Christian etc.
Because these matters are governed under Family Laws. What Family Law applies on you it is not clear.
