I am 29 years old. My husband is working as lecturer and i am also working as a lecturer. He applied for the divorce before 2 years. First he asked to join with me that time i had a major ectopic operation. So i could not able to join with him. So he not pressed and applied for divorce. In the mean time , i got one news about him. He had illegal contact with one lady and he cheated 2 college girls and he blackmailed the girls that he is revealing the softcopies in net. That article came in Junior vikatan. So now i am also want divorce from him. But is there any possibility to take any action regarding that article and can i have maintenance from him?

You are not eligible to get maintenance from your husband. You can settle divorce petition filed by your husband by mutual understanding. Other matters are immaterial for you.

You are not entitled for maintenance under 125 Cr.P.C. but can sue for the same under Hindu laws if you are Hindu. File divorce on mutual consent or the ground of adultery, as you have described if you have sound proofs.

No chance at all if you are equally earning and living life comfortably at par with your husband.

As you said, the divorce filed by him is already pending. You can express your consent for divorce. Else, You can also file separate divorce within your jurisdiction.
As stated by experts, you are not entitled to maintainance as you are earning.
Based on press news/article, it is very difficult to take any action by you.

Already there is an article in a newsmagazine and if that article is also proved as per the above stated experts grounds you can agree for divorce a\or you can sue on your area with the ground of adultery for divorce.
