HOW to transfer property to legel hier with original missing:

Hi i am Kirthika 30years old, My parents died in accident in 2003. i got married now i am the sole legel hier for my parents.

i have an issue, when i tried to look out for my house oiriginals i could find the same have only the xerox copies. how do i get it transferred in my name currently it is in my mother's name. kindly help me. i need the same to be transferred urgently.

First with the help of xerox first obtain a set of certified copy from Registrar office and simultaneusly obtain Encumberrance certificate for 25 years.Then file a police complaint and take a FIR and issue a news paper publication thro your advocate for original missing and simultaneusly file a suit for declaration suit in court.After declaration court would endorse the certified copy with court seal and the court endorsed certified copy would be treated as original then on wards.You would also require a Legal Heir certificate from Thasildar office for court procedures along with parents death certificates Procedures could be completed in 60days and consult a Lawyer.

agree that you have to obtain certifed copies from Registrar office . you have to file police complaint regarding loss of originals and publish in local newspapers that originals have been missing .
