Hello Friends; I want to know that whether as per section 33 of the indian registration act 1908 whether Attorney excuted before the magistrate (Thasildar) is empowered for the registration purpose.

Yes the section 33 itself reads as POWER OF ATTORNEY RECOGNISABLE FOR THE PURPOSES OF SECTION 32 and section 32 is with respect to the persons to be present at the time of registration. But the registrar or the sub-registrar has to satisfy himself that the power of attorney executed by free will of the executant. The registrar or the sub-registrar have the right to visit the executant personally to satify himself about the execution of the GPA
