Info on legal Definitions

(Querist) 24 September 2010 This query is : Resolved
I need legal definition of the word "Custodian" (mentioned in a Registered Document by a executant who is Hindu).

My question is can we ask legal definition under RTI act ? if yes from whom in this case ?

Please advise

Thanks in advance

Same word can be used in defferenct context , RTI is not the forum for it.

But it is a good query. But the querist will understand that RTI is enacted to provide right to information for citizens to secure access to information under the control of public authorities, in order to promote transparency and accountability in the working of every public authority
