Hello Sr. Lawyers/Lawyers,
In a complaint filed to the police by handwriting, then filing the same matter by typing it on computer and filing it on court for 156(3) and then thereafter writing the same complaint by your hand before the judge during the stage of "verification" in 200 crpc case if a person writes the same thing again and again but during arguments submits in written that it is a typographical mistake from her side i.e. the matter mentioned in handwriting to the police contained the typo mistake, the matter typed and filed in court in 156(3) contained a typo mistake and then when you did "verification" before the judge on oath and wrote the same complaint again before the judge it contained a typo error...is typo error to this extent permissable and allowed in criminal trials and can you change and alter and amend extremely important and vital details so specifically mentioned everywhere as typo mistake and amend your complaint to have the same situation as getting beaten up by your husband but now want to substitute another date and time because on the admitted date the complaint becomes false? Is there any High Court or Supreme Court judgement which bans this type of malafide tactics??????????? Or is everything fair in love and war in our useless judicial system????????????

And can such typographical errors be allowed when it goes to the very root of the matter.
On all the 3 occasions wife mentions that me the husband beated her on xx date. Now when I show that I am not in India she says sorry it is a typo mistake...but now I have to first of all face criminal trial for beating her on xx date which she accepts as typo error. What my lawyer says is that her strategy would be to replace the xx date with another date...is such things allowed?

if it mere typographical mistake then that can be corrected .
but in the present case both in the complaint and in verification stage she has mentioned a particular date when the incident occurred . it is only when you have shown that you were not in india during particular date she has come out with amendment application . the conduct of wife is suspicious and creates doubt about veracity of allegations made in complaint
