Joint bank account as husband & wife

Actually one of my friend just helped his girl friend by adding his name in a joint bank account. They never married.
Now some unknown person blackmailing them blaming them that they are married.
What should he do???

Let your friend describe his own problem by personally consulting some expert. Your mediation is quite unwarranted.

still if you need answer mean, very simple.. just ask your friend to marry her. then no one will blockmail your friend..

Come out with facts. No one can blackmail anyone unnecessarily. What are the details?, why at all your friend want to open a joint account with an unknown person or an unrelated person?
