Land acquired

Querist : Anonymous (Querist) 28 March 2024 This query is : Resolved
Hi.
My land has been acquired by the government. I have already submitted all the required documents but it has been a year that the district officer has not signed to transfer the money to my account. Whenever I go to ask them, their only reply is that the officer is busy in a meeting. You can imagine how much money I am losing.
If I hire a lawyer in my area maybe she/he can do a half/half setup with them and charge me.

Now I have decided to take a big action for them.

Which way i can take action against them? Or there is any faster way ?
RTI application , High Court, Order 37 of Court of civil procedure-summary suit or Complaint to Central Information Commission.

Please Advise me and save my time
Thanks

The best option is to send RTI application.

First you should submit a detail representation narrating the entire facts and issue to the concerned officer and take receipt of the same and wait for some time and even if the concerned the concerned officer will not do the needful then you should approach the concerned High Court by way of filing Writ Petition against the concerned District Officer whosoever.

How can you the lawyers set up half and half with them and charge you? May one or two like that we should not blame unnecessarily others as an elder I am saying this. First you shall send RTI application in the matter marking a copy to his higher authorities. If the circumstances permits you can file a WP.

You have the options to select the steps to be taken on your own or through an advocate.
If you have the orders sanctioning the compensation then you can approach high court directly for direction to the authorities concerned for making an expeditious disbursal of the sanctioned amount

You can approach high court with a writ petition seeking direction to the concerned authorities to make the settlement of compensation amount alternately you can approach the sub ordinate court with a suit for recovery of the compensation amount with interest but for that you may have to pay court fee, or if there is a land acquisition court you can file a case for direction to the authorities concerned to pay the compensation amount

What is the present stage of the acquisition. You may ascertain under RTI.

Hi, I thank you all for giving me good advice. I have received the compensation amount last month before going to court.
#kavksatyanarayana sir, I have given the child adoption case 28 Sep 22 to a Delhi lawyer. He promised me to get the child adoption certificate in 6 months but could not get it. He said that Kara did not respond, so a case will have to be filed in the High Court, and 25 July 23 he asks me to pay the High Court fee. After paying the fee, he did not send us any documents like court file number or any reference. Every time I call him, and he answers, I'm working on it. Now the child is over 18 years old.He is messing with the life of a child. He is taking advantage because he thinks we are living in a foreign country and cannot reach him. Until now no response from him, no reply.
It was my fault that I trusted him? What could be the solution?

The adoption of minor child can be done before the child becomes major by age or an adult.
You have stated that the child has turned 18 years, hence your child adoption may not be entertained by high court.
If you have evidences about the cheating activities of the advocate you can give a complaint against him before the bar council for taking legal action against him for the said offences
