Apropos recent ruling of Madras High Court directing the Bar Council to accept enrollment of law graduates who had pursued from open university and gained even PG degree in Law directly. It would open floodgates to many aspirants who aspire to take law as a career. I invite experts to offer their opinion in this regard.

Frankly speaking, the number of law graduates enrolling the bar is increasing day by day and the field of practice is very tough and competitive nowadays. Even the arena of corporate lawyers is also very competitive and only a few get into the corporate field as Law Officers or Legal Managers or Legal Executives.
If law through distance education is permitted then the competition in the legal field would become more tougher.
Lets see what others experts have to say.
