Leaves policy under shop establishment act for Pvt Ltd Co.

Hi,
I am working in a new bpo, which started 2-3 years ago. I got appointment letter as team leader and they are not giving me team just asking me to work as an agent (its giving me mental torture from 3-months) on top of it they have just 12- leaves on appointment letter and when I read SE act I found it should be 21+9 what can I do? I have informed HR verbally. Please guide me for leaves and show me the path to get a fix for the mental torture which I am suffering.

The BPO are covered by Shops &EsTbs Act and BPO can not provide with leave policy inferior to the Act but can provide with superior benefits.



You can record the threats and lodge complaint with Inspector appointed under the Act, BPO employee's/Employee's/Trade Union leaders,o/o Labor Commissioner.


Instead of verbal communications and believing HR persons blindly prefer to send written communications from atleast your personal email id.

Take up with the company in writing and if no result lodge complaint with the Inspector.

Did you seek leave from the BPO administration/management, stating that you are entitled for 9 days off/leave as per company policy/offer letter/Act and Rules on the subject? If so, lodge a complaint to Inspector,as rightly advised by expert Mr Kumar Doab. Otherwise, seek your entitlement.
