legal status of temple marriage

Dear Sir,
I wish to inform you that one of my relative tied knot at Babadham temple trust Deoghar , Jharkhand , India.
Mandir trust has issued a marriage receipt. Please let me know the legal status of marriage which was performed at the above said trust.

both of them accepted their marriage, very simple go to register office register their marriage with mandir receipt, the recently indian GOVT announced marriage compulsory register and enacted amendment act.

Some necessary formalities as Sptapadi in Hindu's are essentials for valid marriage even if it is done on play ground. Same way if these formalities have been fulfilled in temple it is valid otherwise not.
