Who ever by oral , visible representations, signs, innuendoes, prints etc abuses others so as to lower the other person's reputation in his known circles view such comment, signs are visible representations, printings etc have called defamatory expressions for which punishment is 2 years imprisonment or fine or both/Libel means in tort law whoever through written word, caricature mocks or ridicules the person so that he suffers a dent or lowers his image in public eye it is called libel. If libel is established damages may be awarded.
