LL.M is the masters degree of law, in other words it is a post graduation degree in law.

If you do not have a degree of LL.B, nobody can give you admission in LL.M

You can't take admission in LLM as you have not done LLB (the degree course).
Mr Saxena rightly suggested you in this regard.

I differ from the other members, you can do LLM through correspondance where the only criteria is age, if you have crossed 21 years of age, many universitites offer LLM without LLB.

But without a three year regular LLB degree, you cannot enroll in the Bar Council of India, and you donot come under Advocates Act.

L.L>M> course only offered to those candidates who has qualified in ll.b degree. For MBL any degree is eligible.

I also think so Mr Arunprakaash.

BGL (Bachelor of General Laws)- This is a two year offered by quite a few universities. Graduates opt for this and if they complete three years, they get a LLB degree.
