Dear Mr. Ram First of all you please don't worry. Secondly, matter before Lok Adalat is settled only when both the parties to the case want the same to be settled by mutual consent and not otherwise. No order can be passed in your absence.

Mr Ram, I agree with the answer of Sanjay. Lok- adalat can not do any thing without the presence of both the parties.

Mr. Sanjay has replied rightly further if you want to decide the matter before the lok adalat you may depute your representative before the lok adalat to compromise on your behalf.

In Lok Adalat compromise is done only when both the parties are present otherwise the case is prosecuted on the regular court procedure. If you are out of country you can give application through post/fax and adjourned the matter on the next date.

I agree with the views of my above friends. No judicial order can be passed in Lok Adalat in absence of either party.
