Dear Seniors,

Its been now 4 yrs, I am married, but have not yet anything for my marriage certificate. Wherever I go, e.g. banks, passport office etc. they ask my marriage certificate. Kindly let me know the procedure, as to how can we do it.

Assuming that you have made querry for a Hindu marriage; You may get your marriage registered at Hindu Marriage Registrar. It is a simple process but slightly varies from state to state. If you have any problem you may take help of any local lawyer.

you need to approach the Sub-Registrar of your area, know the details, accordingly to be registered and get Marriage Registration certificate. For that you need to produce, one wedding invitation card, two wittnesses, date of birth certificates of you both.
