Hi, please give me your valuable advice
I got married 2 years back, I have no child. Since starting my wife dominated me. She doesn't respect me and my family members. She uses abusive laungage. Many times she has beaten me. She threatens of police complaint. I have been totally mentally disturbed. Now me and my family doesn't want to keep her. She is trying to trap us in false 498a case. Also putting false allegations which have no base. No one in her family is read to talk. How can I get rid of her. Should I apply for divorce, how long it will run in court. So far no FIR has been registered from either side.

Divorce cases take many years to decide unless both parties agree for divorce by mutual consent.
The wife troubling as in your case will try her best to get criminal compliant u/s 498a IPC as is the trend for extracting maximum from the husband for getting him out of criminal prosecution and marriage.
Best course for you offer her good amount to agree for divorce by mutual consent, if she doesn't agree then you may file for divorce on the ground of cruelty and wait for the decision that may take many years and with no guarantee that you will get divorce.

It is advisable to consult a good lawyer before proceeding. It is her legal right to file 498 A case and it is the court to decide it on merits. But even for filing a divorce petition, you shall be needing good and strong grounds which ensures success.

Also my wife has texts me so many messages, in which she has put so many false allegations on me and my family members. Such as I have relationships with another women, I ask for dowry, I and my family beat her. again again she messages me like this. These all allegations have no base and truth at all. Because of her false messages I get mentally disturbed. I am also in terror. Please suggest me right direction.

She has created false evidence of dowry by using my social media account and trying to trap me and my family members. Me and my family members have also got life threatening statement from her family.
