Dear sir
my chacha ji and chachi ji have no child so they adoded my chichi ji mama's grand daughter. And I get merry with her . so please tell me that our marriage is legal or not.

Purely academic question.

Even if there is any truth in your description, as per your statement, "And I get merry with her" when you have already married with that girl, what is the use of asking this question.

By the way, if the marriage is treated as illegal, what would you do?

How / when the child / girl was adopted? Whether proper documents of adoption exist / whether the adoption was legal.

Marriage is not legal with step sister, if she is step sister.

Adopted children have the same legal status as of natural born children. In the instant case, the said marriage is barred by S. 5 of HMA.
