marriage with first cousin once removed

I am 21 years old and a hindu. I am having an affair with my "first cousin once removed" who is also 21 years old. and my question is that CAN I MARRY WITH MY FIRST COUSIN ONCE REMOVED?

what is once removed?

experts pls give me the interpretaion of this aspect.

otherwise, u can not marry ur first cousin, in my opinion.

Harsh,

The relation is within the prohibited degree of marriage under both Hindu marriage Act and Special marriage Act, hence you cannot marry your first cousin further the marriage is void ab initio.

Thank you Kiran, Vishal and Rakhi 4 replying.
But she is not my FIRST COUSIN, she is my FIRST COUSIN ONCE REMOVED i.e, my FIRST COUSIN's daughter (MY FATHER's ELDER SISTER's SON's DAUGHTER). I really love her and want to marry with her. Experts plz help me out.
