No where to see this expression. From where did you get this expression? will you repeat the sentence or the context in which it has occurred?
ashutosh mishra (Expert) 13 May 2012
Gupta sir!

shrink-wrap is a process of packaging-to wrap and seal (a book, a food product, etc.) in a flexible film of plastic that, when exposed to a heating process, shrinks to the contour of the merchandise. It is similar to lamination done with a machine like hair dryer.

dear dedhia !
selling shrink-wrapped books means selling old used books or dvds containing books in digital form.Generally they are out of print.Although on amazon even some new books are sold.

shrink wrapped book look like a pack of paper with tight plastic wrap wrapped around it. A book without any covers. When you take the plastic wrap off, it would be like opening a pack of copier paper, only there's printing on the pages. You can three-hole punch the pages and put them in a ring binder, if you wish.

which legal formalities book seller has to comply?

I can not say with certainty about it but hopefully there should be none except a shop registration.
