You may complain to the Principal in writing. If no action is taken represent to the higher authorities,ie DEO or CEO.

As it is a private school, you shall complain to the Management of the school by registered post making a copy to the Principal.

No use of telling the principal she takes the side of wrong people who keep her engrossed in her praise talks

These are all practical issues.
You are not a school kid that you are making such complaints in forum like this.
You being a teacher, you should be able to decide about the solutions based on the practical issues.
You are appointed to teach others so you are in a better position to take considered decisions.
You can approach a legal forum if you face any legal complication, but this is not a legal issue.
The principal is not the final authority here hence you can approach the higher authority or the management if the principal is indulging in harmful activities against you alone.

There is no easy remedy than in summing up courage and taking a stand.
