Notice is to be served within a month of the intimation of dishonour, 15 days time is provided for making payment and within one mmonth of default to make payment within stipulated time, the complaint can be filed.riven

Send a notice within one month from the date of the cheque dishonour, if the payee fails to make the payment in 15 days than the complaint should have been filed within one month from the date of expiry of grace time of fifteen days.riven

1]The cheque must present within a period of six months to the bank from the date on which it is drawn or within the validity,whichevre is earlier,
2]The payee or the holder in due course of cheque,as the case may be,make demand for the payment of said cheque amount by giving notice,in writing,to the drawer of the cheque within 30 days of the receipt of information by him from bank regarding the return of cheque as unpaid,
3] the of such cheque fails to make payment of amount of cheque to the payee/holder in due course of the cheque,within 15 days of receipt of said notice.after 15 days drawer fails to pay cheque amount complaint be filed within one month .riven
