Need format of promissory note which amount is 1 lakh rupees

Respected sir,
i need one help the fact is
i am the owner of building i gave my home on rent lease Rs 200000/- (rupees two lakh only) so next month that lease date is going to expire my tenant is asking 1 lakh rupees now and remaining 1 lakh rupees on the last date of lease expire.
my question is i am ready to return 1 lakh ruppes him & remainig 1 lakh rupees on same date i.e when lease expire. it mean shall i made Affidavit or its ok with PROMISSORY NOTE. But the amount is RUPEES ONE LAKH RUPEES. (Rs 100000/-)
Dear seniours please could you help me out in this regard please.

Mr. shah is right in saying that your query is not clear!
When you are a land lord and lease was for monthly rent of rs.200,000/=,why there comes a question of return???and why did you return
Rs.100,000/=and when the balance has to be returned??????????????????????
format is not a problem,i shall provide you,provided you feed back and give me the time in which it has to be returned and also that any interest stipulated or not.????????????????????

The querist has probably got security deposit of Rs. 2 lakhs from the lessee. Probably the lessee is asking Rs. 1 lakh now, and he would take the balance Rs. 1 lakh later when he vacates the premises. So, when the land lord is ready to pay the part amount of Rs. 1 lakh out of the total security amount of Rs. 2lakhs, he wants to protect his interests that he had paid Rs. 1 lakh.

If my above understanding is correct, then there is no need for any Promissory Note. All that you have to do is, pay the amount of Rs. 1 lakh by cheque and obtain a receipt from the lessee stating that he has received Rs. 1 lakh through Cheque No. ... dated ... out of the total amount of Rs. 2 lakh deposited by him as Security. Now only Rs. 1 lakh is remaining with the landlord as Security.
