Hi All,
Need help regarding email notice from MTS lokadalat.In the year of 2012 i was using mts data card(in Bangalore).In a month of march they changed the plan and i got a bill of 3000.I called them around 20 times but no use send a mail to cust care.Still no use.I sent a mail saying to settle my issue and activate the service.But no one called me or replied me.After 3.5 years i received the notice to come to Bangalore and i am in Hyderabad.i want this issue to be resolved and i can not go to bangalore just because of this.Any i sent a reply email to them saying i can only give you my montly charges of 1000.I need help can o ignore this as it is just email.if i have to contact lokadalat /what is process ?. Can i shift this to hyd?Can i make a petition on them?

If the plan was changed without your consent , then you may have merits................and you may be required to pay upto that date only from which an unauthorized change was made/ or you discontinued the service.
You have posted that"I sent a mail saying to settle my issue and activate the service."
You may show all emails etc to a counsel specializing in consumer matters.
You may also show the notice and ascertain it is from permanent Lok Adalat or Special Lok Adalat and your counsel can guide you.

Okey thank you kumar for replying my quarry.I don't know about counsel.Is it layer or CA.for now can I ignored the email?If I did not go there what will happen?...

You can engage a lawyer at Banglore and entrust him to appear on your behalf. Make available all documents to him.
If you do not defend, one sided decree can be awarded against you and may result in troubles for you.
