Most of the offences are cognizable and if the police find a need, they can arrest you.

The query suggests that the summons is from the Court. If so, certainly, investigation has taken place which ought to be aware.

At this stage, there is no case of arrest. However, you need to take appear in the Court and take out bail. This aspect involves the formalities for getting sureties to stand for you, executing bail bond etc. You need to engage a lawyer.

Subsequently, you need to appear in the Court as scheduled and face the trail.

S 420, 467, 468 IPC are non-bailable whereas S419, 471 IPC bailable, however if bailable and non-bailable offences are combined in the same FIR/Charge sheet getting the bail will not be matter of right but will be discretion of the trail court to allow it or not. However if you are not living in state of UP or being charged for these offences in state of UP you can seek anticipatory bail from the session or High court that will prevent your immediate arrest by the Police. The summon sent to you should be obeyed otherwise the Police will be knocking your door for arresting you.
