Neighbor's dog nuisance

Dear Sir/Madam,
I have 72 yrs old mother and 6 months old new born baby in my family. We are facing nuisance and health issues because of neighbor's dog kept and tied near by our flat door. We are absolutely not able to keep our door open at all as afraid of getting my family members health infected because of the dog. My mother was admitted and kept in an ICU in the month of Sept 2017 as her chest infection, affected her lungs. As they are keeping the dog on the way to our home, our visitors are also afraid of the dog. Many times we have requested neighbor family to keep their pet dog inside their home but they keep ignoring and always quarreled with us. Couple of times I have made complaints to muncipal corporation and they have visited the place and issued a notice to neighbor. But still they are ignoring and keeping their dog near by our flat door and on the way to our home. Also the neighbor family is from criminal background.
Can you please provide the advice to get the ride trouble facing from neighbor's dog.

Is it a cooperative society flat?
Which state/city/locality you are residing?
What did the police advise?
Why did you prefer to remain "anonymous" author and sought obligation from experts FREE OF COST?

Any nuisance can be avoided only by sensible approach. If the neighbor family is from criminal background, you cannot get any relief either with the replies of the experts here or even through any legal process. The solution lies only in convincing the neighbor with your request with the help of other neighboring families. Any legal process, if adopted by you, may escalate their criminal attitude towards you in particular.

Dear respected Sir, Thanks for the reply. It's a co-operative society flat. I am from Maharashtra/Pune. Society also has given notice to them. Till I have not approached to police. As the neighbor is from criminal background, my other neighbors are also afraid to go against them. Even I observed that they are managing muncipal corporation people. Regards.

If the society and the neighbor are afraid of taking some collecting stand, nobody can help you, except to bear with the problem. However, if you want to take lead, you can obtain the restraining order from the court.

Saying "Please" goes beyond being polite and proper. No other word as simple and straight forward could settle a misunderstanding, calm tempers and build bridges towards .reconciliation..
