Does the sub registrar has to deduct any tax while registering property.

The registrar has no power to deduct tax while registering any property as per Registration Act.

The sub registrar only check, if the required stamp duty and registration fees are paid porperly (as per the recknor). at the time of registration.
He has no power to deduct the tax at the time of registration.
