where can be complaint launched for noise & air polution caused by generator infront of my house used by a neighbour.
Kindly suggest me the appropriate authority.

if there is pollution control board in your area ,you can also approach them

U can file the complaint with pollution control board in your area, if present. Otherwise to the to the corporation or municipalty or the authority having jurisdiction in this regard.

The MHO of Muncipal corproation is Authorised officer to take all the required steps in this regard
You can complain to the Muncipal Corproation and Police for inconvenience by sound / Air pollution and report the same to the Polution Board to remove Sound & Air Polution

Apart from the observations of the, learned members, you can also resort to section 269 to 294 of the Indian Penal code, and also resort to section 133 of the Criminasl procedure Code.See the case of Radhey Shyam vs Gur Prasad (AIR 1978 All 86)
