As per the Notary Act or rules in India, it is mandatory for a Notary to keep the records of notarized documents and registers etc. of the last how many years safe?
Thank you.

There is no time limit but every state Government concerned may issue instructions on maintaining the records. Generally it is advisable to keep the records at least 10 years.

According to the Notaries Act, 1952 in India, a notary is required to preserve their records for a period of five years as the certificate of practice issued to a notary is valid for five years and can be renewed for subsequent five-year terms.
Please don't open different threads in different section with the repeated questions due to your anxiety, you have repeated the same question in the forum section of this website today itself.
