Dear Sir,
I work for a bank, on 30th Dec, a circular from Hr was mailed to all the employees, stating that the there is revision in notice serve.
Change being, it is mandatory for an employee to serve 60 days of notice which cannot be adjusted bye compensating for the period neither leaves would be adjusted. It also read that, failing to which the employee would be terminated. I would want an early relieval, do i have a legal stand. I have not signed any policy post joining.

Previous agreements with he employees cannot be annulled one-sided and arbitrarily. The present policy, as has rightly been suggested by Mr. Bansal can be made applicable only prospectively on the employees recruited after the date of issue of the circular.
